Ohio Employers: Are you getting a refund from BWC?

October 17, 2014

Another Billion Back! Ohio BWC plans on providing a one-time rebate to private employers.

Since BWC’s investments continue to perform well, the BWC Board of Directors approved the plan for a rebate for private employers paying into Ohio’s workers’ compensation system.

How much is the rebate?

Each rebate will equal 60% of the employer’s annual premium, with checks being distributed in October. The rebate will be based on what each employer was billed during the last policy period of July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.

Is your business eligible?

To be eligible, private employers that pay premiums into the State Insurance Fund must have active, up-to-date policies as of September 10, 2014.
